Common faults and solutions of plastic pipe production lines:


1.There are scorch marks on the surface of the extruder extruded tube

May be that the temperature of the fuselage or the head is too high; the head and filter are not clean; there are impurities in the pellets; the thermal stability of the material is poor or the thermal stability dose is too small; the control temperature instrument fails.


2.There are black stripes on the surface of the extruded pipe extruded by the extruder

May be that the temperature of the machine head is too high and the filter is not clean.


3.The surface of the extruded pipe is dull

May be that the die temperature is too low or too high.


4.There are wrinkles on the surface of the extruded pipe extruded by the extruder

May be that the temperature near the die is not uniform; the cooling water is too hot; the traction is too slow.


5.The inner wall of the extruded pipe is rough

May be that the temperature of the mandrel is too low; the temperature of the body is too low; the temperature of the screw is too high.


6.There are cracks in the inner wall of the extruder extruded pipe

May be that there are impurities in the material; the temperature of the mandrel is too low; the temperature of the body is low; the pulling speed is too fast.

Maybe it's wet.


9.Extruder extrusion tube wall thickness uneven

It may be the die, the core mold is not aligned; the temperature of the machine head is not uniform; the traction is not stable; the compressed air is not stable.


10.Pipe twists

It may be that the wall thickness of the pipe is uneven; the temperature near the machine head is uneven; the cooling groove of the machine head is not aligned in the middle of the traction cutting; the holes at both ends of the cooling groove are not concentric.


11.Extruder extruded products become brittle

It may be that the degree of plasticization of the body is not good; the screw speed is too fast; the temperature of the machine head is too low; the viscosity of the resin is too high.


12.Longitudinal or lateral shortening of the pipe

It may be that the radial difference between the sizing sleeve and the inner diameter of the die is large (horizontal); the traction speed is high (longitudinal).


13.The extruder extrudes occasionally slowly

It may be that the temperature in the feeding section of the screw is high; the body enters the water; the melt pressure of the head is low.
