The auxiliary equipment of the twin-screw extruder mainly includes a pay-off device, a straightening device, a preheating device, a cooling device, a traction device, a meter counter, a spark tester, and a wire take-up device. The use of the extrusion unit is different, and the auxiliary equipment used for matching is also different, such as cutters, blow dryers, printing devices, etc.

Ⅰ. Routine maintenance of the extruder

1. No sundries are allowed in the material, and hard objects such as metal and sand are strictly prohibited from entering the hopper and the extruder.

2. When opening the barrel cover or exhaust cover, prevent foreign matter from falling into the main engine.

3. There must be enough warm-up time for warm-up. Generally, the temperature should be kept constant for 2 hours after reaching the process setting temperature.

4. The screw is only allowed to start at low speed, and the idling time does not exceed 3 minutes.

Ⅱ. Common sense of twin-screw extruder maintenance

1. After the machine has been used for a period of time, a comprehensive inspection is required to check the tightness of all screws.

2. In case of power failure in production, the main drive and heating stop. When the power supply is restored, the extruder must be reheated to the specified temperature and kept for a period of time before the extruder can be started.

3. After the extruder has been used for 500 hours, there will be iron filings or other impurities from the gear grinding in the reduction box, so the gears should be cleaned and the lubricating oil of the reduction box should be replaced at the same time.

4. If it is found that the instrument and pointer are turning to full scale, check whether the contact of the thermocouple equilateral line is good.
